THIS NEW“100% PVC BAG” BRINGS A CLEAR COMPETITIVE AND ECOLOGICAL ADVANTAGE AND WILL PROBABLY, STEP BY STEP, REPLACE OTHER PACKAGING TYPES.

This innovation is indeed providing the industry with a more environment-friendly option for PVC packaging recycling. After use, the PVC bags will be collected using the traditional collection systems and, because the bags are not contaminated by other polymers, recycling becomes much simpler. Recyclate could then be reused in a close loop for PVC bags production, but also in many other applications (Compounding, etc.) .

The 15 of April, took place at Solvay premises in Milan, a press conference of Eurosak and (joint-venture between Solvay and Basf for PVC resins production).
During this event, in the presence of daily specialized press and TV, was present also a high charge of the Ministry of the Environment Dr. Aurelia Fonda and the p.r. manager of Federchimica Mr. Paolo Rossi.
The conference had the aim to inform the industrial milieu and the authorities about the important news in the field of industrial packaging: the patented FFS tube entirely made of PVC and the PVC valve bag for the packaging of , respectively, powders and compounds of PVC.
After a period of study, experimentation and at the end of it, have been identified the most suitable formula, strictly with the Pvc resins, with whom produce the innovative film and then Industrial tests started up in the different Production Plants of Solvin Group at the same time as in other Coumpound Maker Companies.
At the industrial phasis test of the new product has partecipated also a very important French Logistic Firm, the GCA ( Groupe Charles Andrè).
At the end of the tests that have been carried out with full success the co-operation has arrived at the phase of normal production that will have to be concluded in few months with the nearly integral substitution of the existent types of packaging made of polyethylene and paper.
The new patented industrial packaging, is currently produced thanks to a co-operation between Eurosak and his subsidiary Industrie Resine Biccari, placed in Foggia, occurs a twofold advantage in comparison with the existing packaging that:
- prevents the pollution of Pvc compounds that often happens, because of cellulose chips coming unavoidably from the bags cutting during the usage.
- allows to save an expensive special waste for the companies which use it. Indeed this new kind of packaging is perfectly compatible with its content and can be always be regenerate, sometimes, utilized together with the content itself.

The PVC FFS tube has been identified as perfectly suitable to be used on every type of bagging line. In order to be possible to condition with ECO-BAG also different products apart PVC, a very important step has been the development of two new types of packaging: the pvc valve bag , with similar properties of the FFS tube; and the pvc Liner (to be use in containers) Thanks to these two new devices it has been possible to grant the same advantages given by the FFS tube, also to those users of valve bags that don’t have necessity or convenience, in investing on an automatic bagging line (for ex. the producers of PVC compound that normally use valve bags), and even to the PVC resins producers that largely use containers for their loadings.
